While manual (hands-on) therapies have been around in various
forms for thousands of years, this presentation will introduce
recent advances and their contributions to improved wellness.
A short introduction on the main types of “touch”
therapies will precede the main topic, followed by a few demonstrations
using people attending this event. The main topic will focus
on how the body reacts to stress and trauma and ways to enhance
recovery.
