In this class, students are introduced and will learn one of the most popularized forms of Tai Ji Quan in the world - the 24 forms of Yang Style Tai Ji Quan.

The 24 forms of Yang Style Tai Ji Quan, also frequently referred as the Simplified Tai Ji Quan, was created by a group of top Tai Ji masters in China in 1956 based on the traditional Yang style form. Because the 24 forms dropped many repetitive movements from the old form, it has made the learning and practicing of Yang Style Tai Ji easier. Despite the changes, the new form retained the fundamental principles and characteristics of the old form.
