Yang Style - Parting the Wild Horse's Mane

 

 

The moves are learned in the following sequence:

  1. Parting the wild horse's mane
  2. Brush knee and push hands
  3. Grasping the bird's tail
  4. Kick with heel
  5. Golden rooster stands on one leg
  6. Strike ears with both fists
  7. Flash the arm

The beginner class teaches and emphasizes the basic concepts and techniques of Tai-Ji Quan. The first seven (7) moves will be taught in a "Standing Form" to help the student find their own balance, enhance their flexibility and improve their strenght and muscle tone.
