Through push hand practice, students not only can
improve their mind & body sensitivity and coordination, it
also can help to develop their ability of using "four
ounces" of their own power to overcome the "thousand
pound" external force. Thus, push hand exercise offers
both therapeutic and "combat" significance. |

Push hand, a two person contact exercise, is an integral
part of Tai Ji training and an effective way for students
to enhance their understanding of Tai Ji principles.
Since push hand has always been considered as an advanced
training method, participation in this session needs to
be approved by the instructor.
