Yang Style - Golden rooster stands on one leg

 

Since the age of eight years old, Master Zibin Guo has studied Wushu (Chinese External Martial Arts) with six well-known Chinese Martial Arts masters.

He is a graduate of Nanjing University where he majored in, and later became an assistant professor of Chinese Martial Arts. He began teaching Tai Ji and other Chinese Martial Arts in 1982 while residing in his native China.

Master Zibin Guo is also a former member of the teaching faculty at the famous National Martial Arts Institute as well as a former member of the Jiangsu Martial Arts Team.

Master Zibin Guo moved to the United States in 1986 where he began teaching Tai Ji, Qi Gong (interanl energy cultivation), Xing Yi (the boxing of mind and body), Ba Gua (eight palms), and other forms of Chinese Martial Arts in the NewYork City, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

 

He received a Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from the University of Connecticut and is the former Dean of Clinical Studies at the New England School of Acupuncture. While in Boston he served as a Fellow in the Department of Social Medicine at Harvard University and lectured at the Harvard Medical School.

Zibin Guo, Ph.D., recently relocated from Boston Massachusetts to accept a position on the faculty at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
